Sheryl Hutzenbiler

Co-Founder & Executive Director | Billings, MT

Sheryl co-founded MFCN after recognizing that Montana's family child care providers lacked representation. As Executive Director, she leads MFCN's operations and advocacy efforts, bringing firsthand expertise as the owner of Munchkin Land, a STAR 5, NAFCC-accredited facility in Billings, a member of the NAFCC Accreditation Council, and the 2024 NAFCC Accredited Educator of the Year.

Our Fiscal Sponsor:

MFCN operates under the fiscal sponsorship of the Montana Association for the Education of Young Children (MTAEYC), Montana's chapter of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This partnership provides MFCN with the 501(c)(3) nonprofit infrastructure needed to receive grants, manage funds, and operate with full organizational accountability — allowing MFCN to focus on what it does best: serving Montana's family child care community.
